Independent Training (Ages 17+)
Students aged 17 and older who are at a strong Level 2 or above are invited to use the aerial points for independent training.
Please note:

-
This is not an instructional session — students must only practice skills they are already confident and competent in.
-
Spotting is not permitted, so only skills that can be safely executed without assistance may be practiced.
-
An aerial instructor will be present to rig equipment and supervise, but will not be providing instruction or coaching during this time.

Independent Training Etiquette
To ensure a safe, respectful, and productive training environment for everyone, please follow the guidelines below:
Individual Focus
-
This is your time to focus on your own aerial practice.
-
No teaching or instructing others — each person is responsible for their own training.
-
Skill-sharing and peer feedback should be reserved for regular class sessions with instructors present.
Training Expectations
-
Only practice skills and sequences you’ve already learned in class.
-
Do not attempt new skills during independent training — save them for class, where instructors can guide and spot.
-
If you're unsure about a skill or movement, wait to revisit it in a supervised class.
Safety First
-
Always inspect your equipment before use.
-
Keep your training area clear of obstacles and distractions.
-
Stay aware of others in the space — maintain a safe distance while practicing.
-
If you feel tired, dizzy, or unwell, stop and rest. Your safety is the priority.
By respecting these expectations, you help create
a safe and supportive space for everyone. Thank you!
